Avascular necrosis of the femoral head: case studies

A review of 26 cases in which our AVN treatment was used shows remarkable efficacy. The patients include both soldiers and civilians, between the ages of 21-60. The period of observation ranged from 2 to 14 years.

The most impressive, 94% of patients no longer needed endoprosthetics.

Additionally, observations established that the femoral head tissue showed restoration of bone structure in 94% of cases, and MRIs showed signs of cartilaginous tissue restoration in 89 % of cases.

Joint function was also restored: after the treatment, 78 % of patients are able to walk without any additional support (canes, crutches etc.).
